Mr. Powerhouse — also known as Big Powa — carries a name rooted in legacy. It was born from Alabama Powerhouse, the independent label he and his brothers built back in the day, and it still represents the same energy: strength, ambition, and a relentless work ethic.
For Powa, dedication is an understatement. Even though he's been writing and recording since he was about 17, it wasn't until years later that he locked in, started investing in himself, and began pushing his music career with full force. What fuels that fire? His family, his love for the game, and an unshakeable belief in his own greatness.
Outside of music, Powa built a career in sales and door-to-door hustle — but the truth is simple:

He doesn't claim idols, but he draws inspiration from real grinders — Master P, a couple rich cousins, and his uncle Shay — the people who stand on business and live by hard work. Growing up, his playlist stayed full of Ludacris, Cash Money, T.I., DMX, Kevin Gates, Boosie, and Webbie — artists who shaped his sound and attitude.
Professionally, he credits support from Tanisha Jackson of Yagelite Enterprise and MLK of Load Breed Entertainment, who helped him level up and move strategically within the industry. He hasn't collaborated with major-label artists yet — he's worked with several rising talents and is focused on building a strong, respected catalog first.
Musically, Powa describes his sound as a blend of T.I., Kevin Gates, and Future — confident, gritty, motivational, and versatile. His brand represents the hustlers, the dream chasers, and the stars coming out of small towns who know they're destined for more.
